Whether you are going to holiday in Hua Hin or Pattaya we have the facilities to help you with your game by organizing one lesson or a package of lessons, which we can arrange by communicating before you arrive. Jorgan, myself (Roger), and our PGA professionals in Pattaya are available to help with the 'green card' and finer points of the golf swing. |

Beginners are welcome and apart from the introduction to the basics of the golf swing we will help you to understand the etiquette required for getting around the course without the fear of being shouted at! |
| What is often NOT considered is the short game and we tend to put this first - why, it gives confidence, it builds the swing slowly so that you can then hit your drives and longer irons with the basic same swing as you learn for the short game and over half your game is played around the green, so you will quickly save shots. Below is our short game program for Hua Hin where we have fun learning this important part of the game. |

THE ITINERARY
MEET AT THE TAVIMOOK GOLF COURSE AT THE TIME TO BE ARRANGED, USUALLY 8.30 A.M.
AT LEAST ONE HOUR OF CHIPPING AND PUTTING LESSONS BEFORE GOING ONTO THE COURSE TO PLAY 9 HOLES AT THE COURSE. YOU WILL BE ESCORTED AROUND AND GIVEN HELP ON YOUR SWING AND GENERAL APPROACH TO THE GAME. WE WILL HAVE FUN!! |
NOTES
The Tavimook golf course, a par 3, is situated on the Petchkasim Road opposite and just before the Hua Hin airport.
The 9 holes and the lessons usually last for 3 hours. Costs per person will include lessons, clubs, (where necessary), green fee and caddy fee (not tip). From 2,500 Baht.

GOLF CLINICS —PGA professional only
Have you and your friends thought of organizing a golf clinic for your holiday. Our typical golf clinic will take 3 days, you will be shown everything from the basic swing putting and all the way to driving the ball. Don't we all want to feel that smack and here the sweet noise of the ball disappearing out of sight ... straight!
Contact us and we will organise this whilst you are on holiday. Typically a 3 day clinic will cost 15,000 baht per person (minimum 2 players) |
The Old Teacher
All the above are lessons available by our excellent PGA professional, Jorgan. Lessons are also available and given by Roger Smith who, whilst not a PGA professional, has taught for 25 years. Great care is given to the teaching and Roger has had great success with beginners and those on holiday who wish to become acquainted with the game. Nick Bayley charges a small amount for his on-line golf lessons, to our way of thinking it is NOT money down the drain as he is good and you will understand what he is on about. For an example the following is a very useful tip for increasing length and can be used for bothe the conventional swing and simple golf swing.
WARNING - Learning This Drill Could Cause You To Gain Some Serious Yards!
This drill is really simple and very effective at teaching you how to release the club.
First, setup to a ball as normal but take your right foot and place this foot well back from your left foot so you are forming a very closed stance.
If you are not sure whether your feet are closed enough it's better to over exaggerate, rather than the opposite.
From this very closed stance position you simply have to swing as normal, with one exception. When swinging try to keep your right foot on the ground during the entire swing.
Doing this means that you are forced to use your arms and hands to release the clubhead, and that's why this drill is so good. Keep doing this drill until you release your hands automatically from a square stance position.
One parting word of warning: Learning to release the hands properly will result in a great deal more distance!!
