‘MONEY FOR FUN’
IT ALL STARTS OUT AS ‘MONEY FOR FUN’. THOSE WHO HAVE HAD A GO KNOW THIS, BUT AFTER A SHORT WHILE, 2 DAYS, 1 WEEK MOST DISPARE AS THE EMAIL BOX GETS CLUTTERED WITH SO MUCH AND THEN GIVE UP THE BATTLE GETTING NO-WHERE, AND A FEW, SADLY ONLY A MINUTE FEW, START TO GET RESULTS, SO IT ISN’T REALLY MONEY FOR FUN, SO WE HAVE DECIDED TO HELP PUT THE SMILE BACK AND HELP OUT FROM OUR OWN EXPERIENCES.
Our golfing business is seasonal, which has given our small team too much time twiddling their thumbs so last year we decided to look into the jungle of making money on the internet. We lost a lot of money learning, something we are still doing as we are not ‘blessed with a guru’ on our books—thank heavens. But now, some 18 months of trial and error we think that we are coming out the other side and at last beginning to know what we are doing, so we are going to share it with you through this webpage. We don’t know it all by a long way but we are making money
We will try and inform those of you who are just started and those who want to of our experiences and before we go on you need not look to the end of this page to see how much because it is FREE, a word that seems hard to find on many web pages advertising money for nothing and so on as they all then ask for some amount at the end that is naturally discounted. We are not sales people so this site will not have any expensive copy writing and hype, can’t afford it and is not what this is about. Yes, one or two recommendations will cost a little, but we have tried to keep your costs down to $100 or less and then it’s up to you!
Before we go any further, one of the rules to follow is that with any internet site that interests you, you should know who you are dealing with, well, this is me, Roger Smith explaining, I think, to my caddy in Thailand that I don’t hit every ball into the water, and should we continue my dear?
She has probably just lost a bet with her co-caddy. So, not a happy bunny!

What to beware of when looking for a legitimate business
We list these problems in no particular order.
First of all, the word scam is probably the most used word on the internet home business front, this is the first and last time we will use it but beware MOST internet offers are----.
There are a lot of legitimate businesses out there on the internet, rule one you must check them out, even those we recommend (if you find anything bad let us know, please). How you check them out in a moment.
If any offer sounds too good to be true, forget it. You will be earning in 15 minutes---rubbish! There are no programs out there that we have found that allow you to sleep, flop on the beach and earn zillions while you do it, I’ve even tried one that said I would make money while I played golf, fell for it –mug! Pretty car, villa with a thousand beds, so on what a dream!
Read the terms of service (TOS) at each site. Every legitimate business opportunity will have a link, usually at the bottom of the page to read the TOS. It should tell you what is involved with getting paid and what you have to do to make money. If there is any "fine print", it will be here.
If it's legit, then it is probably free to join. If it costs money to join, then you need to take a close look at why it costs money. If they are selling you a starter kit or something that you need or will help you get started in your business it could be legit. If they are just charging a membership fee to join, then it is very possibly a pyramid scheme or worse and you need to investigate further.
Selling is really the only way of making money, at the end of the day, whether selling information, a product or service you are selling and frankly if you don’t want to sell also forget it. Therefore, sales commissions are fine but be wary of MLM that asks just to get others in the downlines, this is probably illegal so give it a miss.
Look at how long the company has been in business. Best to trust ones that have been in business for several years and are still strong or the owner has a good record. Try the contact that should be offered on their page and see if they come back to you personally, not just an auto responder.
We personally do not like sites with for example, ‘Rich-jerk’ style hype or any over the top hype, ‘dear friend’ start-up, money offer for doing sod-all, huge discounts, money back guarantees, no contact points, email them with any question and see if they respond, no service offers. Anything that is sent via SPAM email, forget it, no decent company will allow that.
Your check points
Do they respond to your enquiry?
Did they contact you through email SPAM?
Do they make money from products or from you selling more members?
Check in the search engines or the various forums for anything bad (or good).
Do they charge a fee or a monthly membership, not always a bad thing as business is business, but check out.
Do they explain what it is they are selling or are they all hype and secretive.
Look at the terms of service.
They are some of the rules, stick with them and add your own but please don’t stick your head in the sand when you see something that promises a fortune for doing less than nothing—I know the heart races and you dream—dream on it doesn’t happen only the guy/lass that set it up has your hard earned money in his bank. |
